The people behind Universensing

After my career in journalism for daily and trade journals I focused on teamwork and communications within organisations. My company MBC Communications guides enterprises through the processes of change. In this capacity I advise directors and management, develop implementation plans and offer support in their execution. I also give various trainings on communication skills, intuitive development and empowerment.
Experience has taught me that we can change processes, but not people. People only change if they want to change themselves. To make use of the creative potential in an organisation a specific type of leadership is needed, transformational leadership. Leaders who have the insight to realize that change starts with them. That leadership is about strength, not power. Strength creates a flow of energy whilst power is fear based.
From this wealth of experience and from a strong personal need, for the last two years I have also been focussing on the development of professional inner growth and wisdom. In the meantime I have learned that we are capable of much more than we can imagine. By getting to know and mastering our minds, our thoughts become a powerful instrument to realize our ideals. Everything we need to develop this gift is already in our possession. The next step is to make the conscious choice.

After graduating from my actors and directors studies in New York, I came to settle in the Netherlands. I became the director of the International Theatre Workshops Foundation and the director of the Costume and Design school at the Charles Montagne Fashion Academy.
I then specialized in the creative guidance of communicative learning processes, as well as producing and directing an extensive variety of events from prestigious award ceremonies (Prince Claus Fund) to thematic corporate events for relations and employees. I make use of my wide knowledge and experience in theatre.
From within that framework I develop and guide creative workshops and trainings for MBC Communications that provide creative content to internal branding strategies.
For several years now, I have been studying shamanism and I am pleased to see that more and more professionals in the corporate world, the government and health care are opening up to the range of thought, the rituals and traditions of indigenous peoples.

My profession is to organise. After my Communications study, I worked for a multinational for years. I was responsible for the advertising and PR in Eastern European countries and later, for the worldwide tax-free market. I have been working from my own company since 2003. I specialize in Corporate Event Management for organisations nationally and abroad.
As a creative ‘Jack of all trades’ I’m always looking for new possibilities off the beaten track, to create the right environment and atmosphere for a real encounter. Knowing that every detail can make all the difference in the Experience of the moment.
My passion for “Experience” in the broadest sense of the word has led me to start a four-year study of Extra-communicative skills, aimed at the development of perception skills and the management of energy.
Spiritual growth has been an important part of my life from an early age. As a child I used to wonder which reality I would step into if earth had not existed. Universensing offers me the opportunity to integrate my professional and spiritual experience.
